What pushes a full-arch quote up — or down

Two patients can be quoted thousands of pounds apart for 'the same' full-mouth treatment. Here's exactly why, ranked by how much each factor actually moves the final number, so you can read any quote with a clear eye.

1. Four implants or six — per arch

The single biggest swing on a full-arch quote. All-on-4 places four implants per arch; All-on-6 uses six for extra stability and load sharing. Stepping up from four to six typically adds £1,500–£2,500 per arch — so on a full mouth that's £3,000–£5,000. It's the right call for heavy bites and softer bone, but it should be justified by your CBCT scan, not sold as a default upgrade.

2. Implant brand and quality

Premium systems (Straumann, Nobel Biocare) cost more than reliable value brands (MIS, Osstem), but both are clinically excellent. A quote that won't name the brand is a red flag — you should always know exactly what is being placed in your jaw, and how many.

3. Bone grafting and sinus lifts

If you've had teeth missing for years, the jaw may have shrunk and need rebuilding before implants will hold. A graft adds £150–£500 per site and a sinus lift £350–£900 per side in Turkey. It isn't an upsell — it's what makes a full-arch bridge last a decade rather than fail in two years.

4. The bridge material

Your final teeth can be acrylic-on-titanium, monolithic zirconia or layered zirconia. Full zirconia bridges look and wear best and sit at the top of the range; acrylic provisional-style bridges are cheaper but less durable. On a full mouth, the material choice alone can move the price by £1,000–£3,000.

5. Clinic standard and what's included

Accreditation, in-house labs, English-speaking coordinators, hotel and transfers all sit inside the price at a full-service clinic. A bare-bones quote may look cheaper until you add the things it leaves out — and on full-arch work those omissions are expensive.
